Licensed Psychologist and Clinician-Scientist
Portland, Oregon
I am a clinical psychologist specializing in health psychology and behavioral medicine. I work with adults living with chronic, progressive, or complex health conditions, as well as care partners and family members navigating the impact of illness on their own lives. My work focuses on the psychological and relational aspects of health, including changes in functioning, identity, relationships, life transitions, grief and loss, and overall well-being.
My private practice is separate from my clinical and research roles at OHSU and the VA.
I am a clinician-scientist examining access to and engagement with evidence-based psychological interventions within integrated healthcare systems, with particular attention to cognition, substance use, and the structural conditions that shape who receives care and when.
